Os próprios crentes podem ter a plena certeza da preservação do eleito para a salvação e da perseverança dos verdadeiros crentes na fé. E estão de fato convictos segundo a medida da fé de cada um deles, pela qual crêem firmemente que são e que permanecerão membros verdadeiros e vivos da igreja e que possuem o perdão dos pecados e a vida eterna.
