A promessa do evangelho é que todo aquele que crer em Cristo crucificado não perecerá, mas tem a vida eterna. Esta promessa deve ser anunciada e proclamada universalmente sem nenhuma discriminação a todos os povos e homens, aos quais Deus em Seu beneplácito envia o evangelho juntamente com o mandamento de que se arrependam e creiam.
