## **Pergunta 120. Por que Cristo ordenou nos dirigir a Deus como o “Pai nosso”?**

Resposta. Para despertar em nós, logo no início da nossa oração, a reverência filial e confiante em Deus que deve ser básica à nossa oração. Deus, por meio de Cristo, tornou-se o nosso Pai, e se os nossos pais não nos negam as coisas terrenas, muito menos nos negará Deus aquilo que Lhe pedirmos pela fé.1\

## **Pergunta 121. Por que se acrescentou “que estás nos céu”?**

Resposta. Essas palavras nos ensinam a não pensar na majestade de Deus de modo terreno,1 e a esperar do Seu poder infinito tudo aquilo que necessitamos para os nossos corpos e almas.2\
