Isto é: Que supras todas as nossas necessidades físicas1 para que reconheçamos que Tu és a única fonte de todo o bem,2 e que — sem a Tua bênção — nem o nosso cuidado, nem o nosso labor nem mesmo os Teus dons, podem nos fazer bem algum.3 E, portanto, que não depositemos a nossa confiança em nenhuma criatura, mas somente em Ti.4\
