**Pergunta 26. Em que você crê quando diz: “Creio em Deus Pai, Todo-poderoso, Criador do céu e da terra”?**

Resposta. Creio que o eterno Pai do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, que criou do nada o céu e a terra e tudo o que neles há,1 e também os sustenta e governa por Seu conselho e providência eternos,2 é o meu Deus e o meu Pai, por causa do Seu Filho Cristo.3 Creio nEle tão completamente que não tenho nenhuma dúvida de que Ele me suprirá de tudo que é necessário ao corpo e à alma,4 e que também converterá em bem para mim toda a adversidade que me enviar nessa vida conturbada.5 Ele assim pode fazer porque é Deus Todo-Poderoso,6 mas o quer fazer, porque é Pai Fiel.7\
