## **A Palavra de Deus.**

Confessamos que a Palavra de Deus não foi enviada nem produzida pela “vontade humana; entretanto, homens santos falaram da parte de Deus, movidos pelo Espírito Santo”, como afirma o apóstolo Pedro (2Pe 1.21). Após isto Deus, em Seu especial cuidado por nós e nossa salvação, ordenou que os profetas e os apóstolos, Seus servos, registrassem por escrito a Sua Palavra revelada;1 tendo Ele mesmo escrito com os próprios dedos as duas tábuas da lei.2 É por isso que chamamos esses escritos de Sagradas e Divinas Escrituras.3\
